Zdravo. that's a transcription of how to say "hello" in Macedonian. As I begin to learn the Cyrillic alphabet, study the geopolitical turmoil of a history in the former Yugoslav republics, and prepare mentally and physically for what I hope will be one of the most amazing experiences of my life, I find my mind repeating to itself, "Zdravo." So... hello everyone!
